- Preheat your oven or air fryer to 350°F.
- In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Whisk over medium heat for 2–3 minutes.
- Mix flour with water to create a slurry. Add this to the saucepan and continue to cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until it thickens.
- Spread approximately 3 tablespoons of the creamy Alfredo sauce on each pita.
- Evenly distribute the cooked chicken on each pita, layer sun-dried tomatoes and baby spinach leaves, and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes or air fry for 5–6 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are crispy.
- Let them cool slightly and serve warm with remaining Alfredo sauce for dipping.
