  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour Replace with cornstarch for a gluten-free option.
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper Adjust according to your taste.
For the Pita Pizzas
  • 4 pieces Flatbreads or Pita Breads Any type of flatbread or naan can replace it.
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken Use any pre-cooked or leftover chicken.
  • 1/2 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes Fresh tomatoes can be used if preferred.
  • 1 cup Baby Spinach Leaves Substitute with kale or arugula for a different green.
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Cheddar is an alternative for a different flavor.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to 350°F.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine heavy cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, freshly grated Parmesan cheese, and black pepper. Whisk over medium heat for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Mix flour with water to create a slurry. Add this to the saucepan and continue to cook for an additional 2–3 minutes until it thickens.
  4. Spread approximately 3 tablespoons of the creamy Alfredo sauce on each pita.
  5. Evenly distribute the cooked chicken on each pita, layer sun-dried tomatoes and baby spinach leaves, and sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 10–12 minutes or air fry for 5–6 minutes until cheese is bubbly and edges are crispy.
  7. Let them cool slightly and serve warm with remaining Alfredo sauce for dipping.
