Preparation Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 4 teaspoons of yeast, 1 teaspoon of kosher salt, and ½ teaspoon of sugar. Gradually pour in 1 cup of warm water while mixing.
- Knead the mixture for about 5 minutes until a smooth ball forms. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
- In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of shredded chicken, ½ onion, and 1 bell pepper. Drizzle with olive oil and fajita seasoning, then toss to coat.
- Lightly oil a pizza pan, transfer the risen dough onto it, and shape it into a round crust.
- Spread ½ cup of salsa on the dough, top with 2 cups of cheese, and the seasoned chicken and veggies.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly. Cool for 5 minutes before slicing.
