Ingredients

Fudge Base
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk Use full-fat for the best texture.
  • 1 cup White Chocolate Chips Substitute with milk chocolate for a different flavor profile.
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips Dark chocolate can enhance the depth.
  • 1 teaspoon Peppermint Extract Adjust to taste for a stronger minty kick.
Minty Swirl
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Peppermint Candies Crushed candy canes work well for a holiday twist.
  • optional Red Food Coloring Enhances the visual appeal.

Equipment

  • 8x8-inch baking pan
  • Medium Saucepan
  • Parchment Paper
  • skewer or knife

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing it to hang over the edges for easy removal. Set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate chips, and half of the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Heat over low heat until melted and smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract until well blended.
  4. Divide melted fudge into two bowls; mix crushed peppermint candies into one bowl and the remaining semi-sweet chocolate chips into the other.
  5. Pour peppermint mixture into the prepared pan, then pour chocolate mixture on top, allowing it to cascade.
  6. Swirl the two mixtures together gently using a skewer or knife, adding red food coloring if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours until set.
  8. Remove from the pan using parchment paper edges and cut into squares. Serve or package as desired.
