Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare an 8x8-inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper or greasing it.
  2. In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour, oats, brown sugar, and sliced almonds. Blend in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for about 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  4. In a bowl, gently combine sliced peaches and raspberries with lemon juice and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Layer the peach and raspberry mixture evenly over the warm crust and sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture over the top.
  6. Return the bars to the oven and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes until golden brown and bubbling slightly.
  7. Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before lifting them out using parchment paper and slicing into squares.
