- Crush oatmeal cookies into fine crumbs and mix with melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped cream until fluffy.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust, smoothing the top. Optionally sprinkle crumbled cookies on top.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 5-6 hours until firm.
- Remove the cheesecake from the springform pan, let it sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
