- Begin by thoroughly cleaning the chicken wings. Rub them with coarse salt, rinse under cold water, and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cleaned wings with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and chicken bouillon powder. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Lightly toss the marinated wings in cornstarch until evenly coated and set aside.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C) and fry wings in small batches for about 8 minutes until golden brown.
- While wings are frying, prepare the glaze by combining fish sauce, sugar, and lime juice in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves.
