  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry Store-bought for convenience
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar Coconut sugar can be used as a twist
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon Adjust according to taste
  • 1 Egg (beaten for egg wash) Milk for vegan option
For the Bow Decoration
  • 1 sheet Leftover Puff Pastry For creating a decorative bow

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl until well blended.
  3. Roll out one sheet of puff pastry and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top, pressing it in with a rolling pin.
  4. Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top, sprinkle with the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture, and roll again.
  5. Cut the pastry into strips about 1.5 to 2cm wide and then cut each strip into three equal pieces.
  6. Twist each piece into a plait and arrange them in a circular wreath shape on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Shape leftover pastry into a bow to decorate the wreath and place it in the center.
  8. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown, keeping an eye on them as they bake.
  9. Remove from the oven and cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.
