  • 12 sheets Lasagna noodles Substitute with gluten-free noodles for a gluten-free version.
  • 1 lb Shrimp Adds tender seafood flavor and texture.
  • 1 lb Crab meat Ensure it's cooked properly before use.
  • 2 cups Ricotta cheese For lower-fat options, use cottage cheese.
  • 2 cups Mozzarella cheese Can substitute with a vegan cheese blend.
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese Pecorino Romano can be used instead.
  • 4 cups Alfredo sauce Store-bought is a time-saver.
  • 1 cup Heavy cream Can use half-and-half for a lighter option.
For Flavor Enhancements
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced.
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil Any light oil will work as a substitute.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley Chopped.
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions until al dente, then set aside in a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Toss in shrimp and cook for 3-4 minutes until pink, then add crab and season.
  4. In a medium bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup of mozzarella, ½ cup of Parmesan, heavy cream, and parsley. Mix until smooth.
  5. Spread a layer of Alfredo sauce in a baking dish, follow with a layer of noodles, half the cheese mixture, half the seafood, and another layer of sauce. Repeat.
  6. Finish with a final layer of noodles topped with remaining sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, uncover and bake for another 10-15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  8. Let the lasagna rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
