- Make the lemon basil aioli by combining mayonnaise, fresh basil, minced garlic, lemon zest, kosher salt, and black pepper in a food processor. Blend until smooth.
- Grill the Italian sausage links on the cooler side for 4-5 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 150°F.
- Transfer sausages to the direct heat side of the grill and grill for 2-3 minutes per side until they reach 160°F.
