Preparation Steps
- In a small saucepan, warm the milk and butter over medium heat until melted. Stir in sour cream and cool to lukewarm.
- In a large bowl, combine the lukewarm mixture with yeast, sugar, and eggs. Whisk well, then add flour and salt until a soft dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Shape into a ball.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1.5-2 hours.
- Mix cocoa powder and sugar in a medium bowl to prepare the filling.
- Roll the risen dough into a rectangle, spread filling on top, then roll tightly from the long edge.
- Cut rolled dough into 12 pieces, place in a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise until doubled, about 1.5-2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Bake rolls for 20-22 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
