  1. Start by patting the sirloin steak pieces dry with paper towels. Generously season all sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering. Add the seasoned steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes per side until brown.
  3. Transfer the seared steak bites to a slow cooker, scraping up any brown bits from the skillet.
  4. Sprinkle minced garlic over the steak bites and add cubed butter on top.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the meat is fork-tender.
