Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat a splash of oil over medium heat and add ground beef with finely diced onion. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Stir in minced garlic, salt, black pepper, ketchup, and yellow mustard. Cook for an additional minute to meld flavors.
  3. Roll out the refrigerated pizza or crescent dough into a rectangular shape, about ¼ inch thick on a floured surface.
  4. Spread the cooled beef mixture evenly across the dough, then top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Starting from the long edge of the dough, roll it up into a tight log shape, then slice into 1 to 1.5-inch thick pinwheels.
  6. Arrange the rollups on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Mix melted butter with garlic powder and brush over each rollup.
  7. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the rollups for about 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Once baked, let cool for a few minutes, then optionally sprinkle with dried parsley before serving.
