Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Base
  • 13.25 ounces white cake mix boxed
  • 2 eggs or flax eggs for vegan
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil or melted butter/coconut oil
For the Festive Color
  • 1 teaspoon red food coloring gel
  • 1 teaspoon green food coloring gel
For the Signature Coating
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Method
 

Steps to Prepare
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine eggs, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract with the white cake mix until smooth.
  3. Divide the dough into two bowls; add red food coloring gel to one and green to the other. Mix until tinted.
  4. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Form balls of dough with a cookie scoop and roll them in powdered sugar.
  6. Bake for 9-11 minutes until the edges are set, then cool on a wire rack.
  7. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
