- In a large bowl, combine warm water, active dry yeast, and granulated sugar. Allow to sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- Stir in melted unsalted butter and salt until well mixed.

- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour in a warm place.

- Bring 10 cups of water to a boil, add baking soda. Boil pretzels for 30 seconds.
