Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vegetable oil, and milk until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
  5. Transfer the batter to a piping bag and fill the donut cavities about 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for 15-16 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let the donuts cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  8. Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a shallow dish for coating.
  9. Brush or dip each donut in melted butter, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
