White Bolognese Sauce Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add 1 finely chopped onion, 1 grated carrot, and 1 diced celery stalk. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Add 1 pound of ground meat to the skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. Stir frequently for about 8-10 minutes until browned.
- Pour in ½ cup of dry white wine and scrape the bottom to deglaze. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until most of the liquid evaporates.
- Reduce heat to low, stir in 1 cup of milk or heavy cream, and add a pinch of nutmeg. Simmer for 30-45 minutes until thickened.
- Fold in ½ cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve the sauce over your favorite pasta for a comforting meal.

Notes
Allow the sauce to simmer longer for richer flavor, and always use freshly grated cheese for the best results.
