  • cup Flour Helps prevent sticking while shaping.
For the Toppings
  • 8 ounces Chicken Breast Cut into thin bite-sized strips.
  • 6 ounces Fresh Mozzarella Pearls are recommended for ease.
  • ½ cup Buffalo Sauce Divided for base and tossing chicken.
  • ½ Red Onion Thinly sliced for crunch.
  • Fresh Jalapeno Sliced and adjustable for spice preference.
For Finishing Touches
  • Honey For drizzling.
  • Ranch/Blue Cheese Dressing Optional side for dipping.

Equipment

  • Oven
  • Pizza Steel or Stone
  • Medium Saucepan
  • Pizza Peel
  • Kitchen towel

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Remove the pizza dough from the fridge and let it proof at room temperature, covered with a kitchen towel for 3-4 hours.
  2. Preheat your oven to 500-550°F and place a pizza steel or stone inside to heat for at least one hour.
  3. In a medium saucepan, heat a tablespoon of oil and cook chicken strips for 5-6 minutes until golden brown. Toss with half the buffalo sauce.
  4. On a floured surface, stretch the proofed dough into a 12-inch circle, keeping the edges thicker for a lovely crust.
  5. Transfer the shaped dough onto a floured pizza peel, spread the remaining buffalo sauce, then layer cooked chicken and mozzarella.
  6. Slide the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone. Bake for 5-6 minutes, then broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven, drizzle honey, slice into wedges, and serve warm with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
